• Photos On May 14-16, 2007 the City of Atlanta, CIFAL Atlanta, UNITAR, and the Georgia Water Resources Institute at the Georgia Institute of Technology co-hosted the 2nd Annual Mega-City Water Forum “Planning for Sustainable Growth”. This year’s forum focused on environmental impact, sustainable infrastructure, capacity-building, and funding. This forum was supported by the American Water Works Association Research Foundation, the Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies, the International Water Association, National Association of Clean Water Agencies, and the Water Environment Federation. The workshop was sponsored by Delta Airlines, GE Water Process & Technologies, METCALF & EDDY | AECOM, MWH, and The Coca-Cola Company, who contributed their time, expertise, and financial resources to this forum. Over sixty delegates participated in this global dialogue on pressing water sustainability issues.
