Much of the work of CIFAL Atlanta is to facilitate the creation of public-private partnerships, locally and internationally, to promote economic growth and development. Throughout the year, CIFAL Atlanta works with national governments, municipalities, the private sector, academic institutions, international organizations, and civil society on important programs and initiatives that help tackle global challenges.

from the public and private sector of the U.S., Latin America, Asia, South Africa and Eastern Europe have been trained since 2004.
3,407 participants
from the Western Hemisphere’s public and private sectors were trained in 2008 alone.

have sent representatives to CIFAL Atlanta’s training programs since inception.
International Public-Private Partnerships
CIFAL Atlanta maintains and promotes strong cooperation with United Nations Agencies, local and national governments around the world, international organizations, private sector corporations, non-governmental organizations, academics, and civil society entities.
Dialogue
Our international forums provide a unique environment where leaders can engage with peers from all parts of society and from different countries around the world to discuss and learn on issues such as the environment, economic development, health, poverty and education.
Cooperation
Our forums and training sessions encourage city-to-city cooperation to address global issues.
A Unique Approach
All CIFAL Centers around the world implement the Knowledge Management Methodology conceived by UNITAR as a unique platform to facilitate peer-to-peer best practice sharing.
